Design and fabrication

This project was developed in response to the artistic, spatial, and technical requirements of the site. The work combines sculptural form, material expression, and its relationship with the surrounding environment.

Xinjiuding participated in the production process according to the agreed scope, supporting the translation of the original concept into a completed metal artwork.

A Thousand-Mile Aspiration depicts a horse moving forward with an elevated head and alert posture. The title draws on the long-standing association between the horse, endurance, and far-reaching ambition, while the finished work remains direct and naturalistic in its anatomical treatment.
