Aeolos is the god of wind. Its crescent-like figure symbolises freedom and the ancient past. The sculpture gives these ideas a tangible form; its graceful shape and sense of balance offer encouragement.

Wind surrounds us everywhere, and encouragement is everywhere too. Like a crescent moon, the work symbolises time and new life, soon moving towards fullness and maturity.
