A bronze reproduction of the Cai Hou lotus-petal-lidded fang hu, produced through traditional lost-wax casting and detailed metal and surface finishing.
This project was developed in response to the artistic, spatial, and technical requirements of the site. The work combines sculptural form, material expression, and its relationship with the surrounding environment.
Xinjiuding participated in the production process according to the agreed scope, supporting the translation of the original concept into a completed metal artwork.
This project reproduces the distinctive form and ornament of the Cai Hou lotus-petal-lidded bronze fang hu, including its square-section vessel body, sculptural fittings, lotus-petal lid, and densely worked decorative surfaces. Xinjiuding used traditional lost-wax casting to produce the modern bronze reproduction, followed by detailed metal refinement and surface finishing.
