A playful series of patinated copper figurines that reinterprets Chinese zodiac animals as compact contemporary decorative objects.
This project was developed in response to the artistic, spatial, and technical requirements of the site. The work combines sculptural form, material expression, and its relationship with the surrounding environment.
Xinjiuding participated in the production process according to the agreed scope, supporting the translation of the original concept into a completed metal artwork.
The Chinese Zodiac Figurine Series translates familiar animal signs into rounded, animated characters for display and gifting. A consistent scale and sculptural language connect the individual figures, while varied poses and surface colors give each animal a distinct personality.
