A monumental pavilion-style bronze censer custom-designed and fabricated for Zhenrong Temple at Mount Wutai.
This project was developed in response to the artistic, spatial, and technical requirements of the site. The work combines sculptural form, material expression, and its relationship with the surrounding environment.
Xinjiuding participated in the production process according to the agreed scope, supporting the translation of the original concept into a completed metal artwork.
Created for Zhenrong Temple at Mount Wutai in Shanxi, this monumental bronze censer serves as a prominent ritual object within the temple courtyard. Its broad circular body, sculptural supports, raised canopy, and ornamental finial form a distinctive pavilion-like composition designed to complement the surrounding Buddhist architecture.
